The LRHS drama club has been working tirelessly for the past month in preparation for their fall comedy production of Noises Off! With dress rehearsals just around the corner, the show is well on its way to becoming an event you won’t want to miss! The play is a show-within-a-show, offering the audience insight into the work and drama that usually occurs before a production.
Noises Off! is divided into three acts; the dress rehearsal, the opening of the performance, and the end of the performance that might fall apart at any minute. Walker Elseasser and Connor Perfetto are set to play Lloyd Dallas, the directors of the show who are also involved in a love triangle involving Brooke Ashton, played by Paige Goldstein and Collette Woodson, and Poppy Norton-Taylor, played by Josepha Brehm and Annie O’Connor. Between the love triangle and the sardine-loving housekeeper, Mrs. Clackett, performed by Morgan Cross and Shannon Ranger, there’s certainly a lot happening on stage that’s sure to have you laughing. The show will run from Thursday November 21st through Sunday November 24th. They will have three evening productions on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday starting at 7pm. There will be two additional matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm. Tickers are $8 for students or seniors and $10 for adults.
