On Friday, students (Joseph Deschenes, Rianna Reynolds, and Dakota Muise) were given awards from the Maine CDC Youth Mental Health and Cumberland District Public Health for their work in the Student Summit Leadership Program. They presented along with OUT Maine and Opportunity Alliance on what impact student-driven student voice and leadership programs have on youth in Maine. They did a fantastic job, and they have been invited back anytime to continue sharing the issues they are working on and their approaches to creating change for their school community.
