Last week the Junior Humanities class took a field trip to Hannaford for their budgeting project. For underclassmen who haven’t taken the class yet, the project was over a month long and involved each student selecting a career, buying a home and automobile, getting insurance, paying taxes, and many other aspects of adult life to make sure the junior class is ready to take on the world in just a few years.
The short field trip to Hannafords was to show their ability to budget for groceries and not break their wallet. They learned how to find deals and buy food in their price range, and after finishing their list they were allowed to buy some snacks for the ride home. -Julia Comments are closed.
